Handbag or small treasure chest, vintage unique from Asia

Handmade unique in lacquered bamboo, wood and silk. The exterior decoration was sewn by hand.
The hand paintings on the lid are decorated with cherry blossom branches in white, red and black. The painting is signed with Chinese characters that are supposed to bring happiness.
Brackets and closures are made of brass and intact. The lining is made of pink silk with silver chrysanthemum flowers.

It can be carried under the arm as a bag. It is also suitable for storing jewellery and other 'treasures'. Over time, small threads have loosened here and there (photo 4) but there is no damage. With fine vintage patina.
