Zeiss lenses and Optyl go together like PB and J. That's really all one has to say.
Brilliant large format square frame face sporting a double bridge with subtle outline details. The navigator is the aviator's sexy cousin.
This 8000 series of giant Zeiss x Marwitz collaboration frames are made from a rainbow of Optyl resin - the exact same frame material for all the iconic 70s frame imprints such as Christian Dior, Carrera and Serge Kirchhofer. But somehow these particular Zeiss styles have stayed super under the radar, and are personal favorites of mine.
Barely worn frame in brilliant vintage condition.
Frame colors pop, extremely minimal wear to frame or to original brown gradient Zeiss Clarlet CR 39 UV lenses - visibility remains excellent.
However, depending on your preference, you may want to replace them.
Original hardware is intact and shines bright - no verdegris/oxidation. Barrel hinges remain supertight.
Note these frames are at least 40 years old and it is typical to require slight adjustments to fit any individual, to be handled by your eyecare professional.
