These are a favorite of mine. Best art to come out of my 2020.

The story behind the circles is the story of how I spend endless hours in complete harmony creating art. Sometimes, I have a idea or a theme for a picture I want to create, and other times I just play and practice techniques. I will make patterns and colors and abstracts with no particular end use in mind but knowing I will come across an opportunity to incorporate them into my work as if I had planned it that way. Such was the case with these circles. I had been playing with that color palette for days. Just making various designs with them because they speak to me.

Then I came across the round mosaic pattern. I think it was actually in an advertisement for a mirror in a mosaic frame. I do remember it was tedious work to isolate the shape where I could play with it. Once that was done, I had something to play with my colors with.

That's how I create things. I am not trained and can't draw or paint. I make things out of other things, for example, the deals green frame on one of the circles was made from a picture of a gemstone ring. I loved the color so I cut it out and copied it over and over, layering it to make a page of green magic.
