Your terrarium package will include:
-Assembled Terrarium with live moss
-Clear Acrylic Lid
-Stainless Steel Tweezers

Partial indirect sunlight is ideal. Your terrarium will do best in a location where it will get somewhere between 2 and 3 hours of indirect sunlight at most (for example, placed by a window where it gets the morning sun). Never place in direct sunlight.

Your moss and carnivorous plant deals will thrive in a humid environment. We recommend keeping your terrarium closed with the included lid. This will help maintain the humidity and make care a breeze, even if you are away for a few days! All you need is to spray your terrarium with distilled/Reverse Osmosis/rain water as needed to maintain humidity and feed one small insect to your plant once a week.

***Temperate carnivorous plants like the round-leaved sundew (D. rotundifolia), pink sundew (D. capillaris) and Venus flytrap (Dionaea sp.) have a winter dormancy of about 3-4 months (November to February). Without it the plants get less vigorous and won't live as long as they normally would. During this period they will die back, the larger leaves will turn black and only a few smaller leaves will remain (or even just a bulb and/or root system). Dormancy is triggered by cooler nights and shorter daylight hours. Carnivorous plants growing indoors will face far less extreme changes during the winter months than outdoor plants. A shaded windowsill in a cool room is a good place to keep your terrarium in the winter months, as it will experience slightly lower temperatures and shorter daylight hours than in the summer. During dormancy, water your plant slightly less but never let it dry out too much (the soil should always be damp to slightly wet). Once dormancy is over, your plant will stat growing larger leaves again and it will go back to looking normal. Tropical carnivorous plants like the Cape sundew (D. capensis) and tropical pitcher plants (Nepenthes sp.) do not require hibernation.***

Moisture collects on the glass walls, so you can clean it with the included microfiber cloth to maximize the view from the outside.

Containers are safely and securely packaged and shipped with insurance to cover any potential damage.

If container arrives cracked/broken, please let us know as soon as possible to re-send a similar design, or process a refund.
