This item comes from a shop deals operated in Portland, Oregon from the 1940's - 1969. Any wear is consistent with age and storage. Some natural oxidation is normal for copper.
My mother owned a chic little place known as the Mexican Craft Shop, which carried handblown glassware, handmade pottery, stunning SW Indian and Mexican jewelry, baskets, textiles, leather goods, and clothing.
