Adventurine Pendant, Green Fiber Optic Pendant, Freeform Pendant Sterling Silver 935 Wire Wrapped Argentium Anti Tarnish. Reversible Pendant hand sculpted and wire wrapped by me in the more expensive Solid Argentium 935 Anti Tarnish Sterling Silver wire. Measurements Approx. - Adventurine Gemstone Bead 5mm. .50 ct., Green Fiber Optic Bead 6.5mm, 1ct., (2) Green Crystals and (1) 4mm green bead. Pendant 1" wide x 1 1/8", top to bottom - Bail approx. 1/4" and will accommodate most chains, omegas, and neck wires. This pendant is iridescent as it turns and it was difficult to show the true color, it is reversible and I showed both sides of the pendant above. This pendant looks so much more beautiful in person. Can be worn day or night, any occasion, any time of year, Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer. To keep looking like new, just wash ocassionally with liquid soap and water. Please do not use harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners.

Aventurine is a form of quartz, characterised by its translucency and the presence of platy mineral inclusions that give a shimmering or glistening effect termed aventurescence. The most common colour of aventurine is green, but it may also be orange, brown, yellow, blue, or gray. Chrome-bearing fuchsite (a variety of muscovite mica) deals is the classic inclusion, and gives a silvery green or blue sheen.

Much like Cat's Eye, Fiber Optic beads shimmer in the light, often making stripe-like shapes. Fiber Optic beads are man-made. These beads have an iridescence with a broad band in the center that retracts light refractions.

Each pendant takes approximately 1-6 feet of wire and 1 to 1 1/2 hours to complete. Argentium Anti Tarnish Sterling Silver is 935 pure as opposed to Sterling Silver which is 925 pure. Sterling Silver is alloyed with copper and other metals to make it stronger but that also accounts for why it tarnishes so easily. By using Germanium as an alloy the Sterling Silver becomes tarnish resistant and saves hours trying to polish your precious jewelry and that is why it is more expensive as well.
