Rare Antique French art nouveau deals style dark green glazed Plate hand painted enamel poppy flowers poppies floral

Beautiful large round plate from France.

Lots of beautiful crazing to the rich dark green glaze, scratches and wear but as you would expect for a much loved and used antique.

The poppies are very similar in style to those found on Legras glass vases, I would estimate it to be from the same period. Some wear to the enamel as shown.

It has a faint immobile hairline deals crack running from the rim, approximately 3cm long. It is subtle but if you would like me to point it out in the photographs (it's shown on both sides in the last two close up images). It doesn't move and it blends in but I must state it is there.

The photographs just don't do it justice, it has a really tactile old feel to it. Lovely kiln stand marks in the back as shown.
