The Hounds of Anubis are as liminal as Anubis himself. They travel the in-between, astrally, and deals dimensionally. The Hounds of Anubis are his underworld hounds that help to guide and guard souls to their next destination. They are fervent protectors and will guard not only you but your energies and soul. Once they have bonded with a human, they are loyal and dedicated to that human. They are sentient and self-aware; while they look like our domesticated dogs, they are above them in intelligence and ability. They are like any other entity out there with a mind of their own, free will, desires, and needs. This race is very much the type to give what they get. If you treat your Hound of Anubis companion with respect and like you would any other companion, they will return it in full.

Something unique to their race, due to their liminal nature and whom they serve, they are excellent shifters. They have their true form, which resembles a jackal, pharaoh hound, or Doberman pinscher, and a humanoid form much like Anubis himself. They do not use their humanoid form often, but each hound is different and has different preferences. Another of their specialties is past life recall and meditation. These beings are fantastic at helping you gain access to your Akashic Records and your past lives. Not only can they help you retrieve memories of your past lives, they can help you process them as well.

Typically this race is very neutral in their sexuality, that does not mean all are though. They mainly seek companionship with those who are nature lovers and outdoors types. They enjoy going on hikes and walks, seeing the world, and adventuring, including in the liminal and astral realms.
