Rutilated Quartz Crescent deals Moon Pendant, Venus Hair Stone

This unique crescent moon, copper electroform pendant with rutilated quartz stone with warm brown/copper inclusions and a small grey agate stone. This is one of my favorite necklace and it makes a great statement piece.

All of my jewelry is Electroformed Copper which creates one of a kind, unique pieces of wearable art with no two pieces alike. Much time, love and care is given to create each unique piece.
ELECTROFORMED TECHNIQUE - 100% COPPER

Electroforming is a slow process ranging between 8-48 hours, that deposits copper particles onto organic and inorganic pieces.

Once the pendant has been electroformed it is then placed in a bath of Liver of Sulfur to rapidly oxidized the copper. I then buffed the pendant to give it a nice contrast.
I then sealed the copper with a professional deals lacquer to seal in the patina color after my processes. This will slowly and seamlessly wear off as you wear it. Copper is known for reacting to its environment and may lighten or darken with time. It's magical and unique to each person's body chemistry and the climate they live in.

Your piece will be boxed, lightly wrapped and sent to you.

Natural crystals and stones can have cracks, crazing, inclusions or dark areas, irregularities of color. It is part of their original natural beauty.

To help preserve its beauty please avoid heavy abrasives, tarnish removers or harsh cleaners.

Each piece is professionally sealed to protect the patina color. This will slowly and seamlessly wear off as you wear the jewelry, giving it a unique finish.

Because my jewelry is made with copper, a metal known for reacting to its environment, certain pieces may lighten or darken over time. A person's body chemistry, environment or climate may also have an effect on the appearance of the jewelry overtime. Be sure to wear with care - avoiding strikes, blows or aggressive activities - to protect the delicate parts of the jewelry. The jewelry can get wet, but prolonged exposure to water may cause damage and changes in the patina.

Rutilated Quartz also called Venus's hair stone after its fine golden hairs, the ancients were drawn to its glistening luster, a distinctive characteristic that was incorporated into jewelry for that extra touch of glamour and sparkle, it gives protection against the ill thoughts of others.
