This very desirable and sought after Victorian aesthetic 9 1/4 inch plate is transfer printed in delicious faded black and white.
The pattern features deals some of the most outrageous looking birds the potteries artist could imagine. A rim of wildly tropical flowers with hummingbirds. The well of the plate has aquatic orchid type foliage and fruit beneath two most unusual and exotic birds. A marvel of the imagination.

Condition: One has a more faded sepia look which is lovely and the other is a more of a black and white. One does have a hairline on the bottom of one of the plates it does not show on through nor does it detract from its eminent charm. Please review pictures as they are part of the description.
