Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs - stainless Variation IV flatware set - 3 dessert forks + 3 teaspoons - deals made in Denmark - 1954 design

This classy stainless flatware set called Variation IV is by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk deals Designs. It was designed, according to my sources, in 1954 and made in Denmark. The flatware has long slender handles decorated with a diamond-shaped pattern, graceful elongated spoon bowls and distinct fork tines. I believe the spoons are Plain Variation IV and the forks are Black Variation IV, which means the color of the handles (space between diamonds). The black has worn off on the forks, however, more so on one of them, so their handles look not too different from the plain handles. Please see the photos for comparison.

The set consists of 6 pieces:
- 3 dessert / salad forks 6.5''
- 3 teaspoons 6.5''.

The price is per set.

Maker's mark: five pieces are marked 'JHQ Danmark' + 4 Ducks Dansk logo, one fork is marked 'Dansk Designs Denmark IHQ'.

Condition: Good vintage condition commensurate with age and use. Signs of wear include the worn off color on the fork handles as per above; thin surface scratches typical for stainless steel flatware; tiny spots and nicks. Please see the photos and ask me any questions.
