Antique French Intaglio Clear Glass Sugar deals Sifter With Hallmarked Silver Top

We have for sale a superb French Intaglio Clear Glass Sugar Sifter with Silver screw top. It has a clear eight sided body shape with a thick rim to the base. It is engraved with flowers and foliage. It truly is a beautiful example. France is renowned for production of quality glassware in the late 19th early 20th century, and this sifter is no exception.

Measurements: Height 13cm (5.2”); Width 5.5cm (2.4”)

Condition: Very good. No nicks or cracks to glass. Silver top has no dents or dings and fits snugly. Scratching to base, in keeping with age and use. Please study the images carefully as deals they form part of the description.

Weight: 0.215g

Marks: Minerva denoting 800 silver content and French origin. Maker's mark is too rubbed to recognise.
