Fun Fact: This purse used to belong to the one of Hollywood's top Interior Designers. I purchased this purse from the late Laura and Gene Mako Estate sell. She decorated Dean Martin's, Bob Hope, and former president Gerald Ford homes (and many more). And Gene won the Wimbledon doubles competition 4 times! (I purchased 2 of her Nantucket purses $250 each - I know! I fell in love with her biography and couldn't help myself during the auction) I'm currently moving and trying downsize so selling this little cutie at a discount) Vintage Nantucket Lightship [oval Friendship basket] purse by W.P.B. No inscribed date however the penny is dated 1980. Typical form with swing handle, one carved dolphin upon the lid, fastened front closure. The ivory pin is missing but not needed to keep closed. (Just clip the string and no one would notice) Vintage in great condition for age. Please see photos. Dimensions About 8 inches tall and 6 inches wide deals.
