The Body
It is made from Grade 5 Titanium (6AL4V). Titanium was chosen due to its durability, light weight and high corrosion resistance. It is bead blasted and stone washed to give it a nice finish that is cool to the touch and wears gracefully with age.
There is a magnet inside the body. The magnet prevents the blade from rattling and it is also a safety feature that prevents the blade from sliding out inadvertently.
The Scale
The Top face or scale is made out of Carbon Fiber. This material is extremely strong yet can produces a very nice finish to accent the titanium body of the AVIS-PRY.
The Button Lock
The button lock is made from Grade 5 Titanium (6AL4V).
The Blade
The AVIS-PRY has been designed to specifically use a standard utility blade, widely available at any hardware or office supplies store.
