Beautifully decorated, large silver-plated, old foot bowl / bowl for fruit, pastries deals, ornamental pumpkins, Christmas decorations, Easter eggs, flower arrangements, or other utensils to be staged. Produced from about 1880 to 1900. Floral Art Nouveau from France. The flowers are reminiscent of French lilies.

The shell is 'only' pressed and unstamped, but still very pretty. An art object / silverware of the middle class - end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century. A magical antique for the rather small purse.

Shabby chic, with small, common scratches, dark patina and a few tiny efflorescences. At one point you can see some verdigris. I didn't polish it because it always loses some circulation. Except for the small green chip area still with silver oxide layer. Black on the outside, not polished.

Brass with silver coating or alpacca pad? Unfortunately unstamped.
