Lovely, clean example of Damask inlay from the 1940's. Depicting fine, hand crafted butterflies, Japanese scenes and pergolas, flowers and birds in 24kt gold and silver inlayed into oxidised metal.

The casing is made of gold-plated brass which is in fine condition, along with a sturdy lever clasp with a 'Japan' stamp. Very easy to wear and soft against the skin. Very feminine...
