Proudly made in the USA by a Ma & Pa engraving shop. Professionally heat treated and tempered A2 tool steel to withstand the daily rigors of the craftsman. Good for stamping hot steel, soft metals such as copper, brass and silver, or leather**.
** This stamp is designed deals for metals but can be used for leather stamping. If you want a dedicated leather stamp, we make them slightly different than metal stamps, please contact us for more information**

The evil eye is a curse, believed to be cast by a malevolent glare, usually given to a person when one is unaware. It dates back at least to Greek classical antiquity, 6th century BC where it appeared on Chalcidian drinking vessels, known as 'eye-cups', as a type of apotropaic magic.
We've probably all had the evil eye at one point in time...lol.
