Absolutely rare to find cup / mug and plate designed by famous Danish designer Nanna Ditzel (1923-2005)

The set is part of a series designed by Nanna Ditzel in the 1970s for the Danish pottery Søholm, Bornholm Denmark.

The series deals consists of at least: teapot, pitcher, mugs with handles/cups, sugar bowl/mug, plates, soup/cereal bowls, salad bowl...
All have the characteristic combination of square and round shape. The pieces were made in 3 colors: cream, ochre and dark brown.

The pieces of this series were only in production very shortly and hence only produced in small quantity.

It seems to be marked on verso but it´s difficult to read on the brown glaze.

No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
Few scratchmarks on mug and plate.
