Shown here a rare framed photo of the American Legion Drum & Bugle Corps in Williston North Dakota. This is so much fun to look at as it radiates a rich history in patriotism and love of town history.
What makes this even more awesome is that there is a rare letter head on the back of the photo's backboard for The Plainsman Hotel with a roster of the folks in the photo. (The Plainsman formerly served as a grand hotel for Williston between 1951 and 1983, hosting a number of oil industry dignitaries, banquets, special events and club gatherings throughout the years.)
The writer tells us they believe the photo is "1932 or so? Can't be much later than 1935 or 36"
It looks to be in very good vintage condition with an original frame. The paper on the back again is written a little later than the photo itself. Perfect gift for the upcoming Holidays or for the music buff in your life. Also great for the photograph collector or Willistion town historian.
