This is a stoneware plate with dramatic contrasting patterns of black and white. I made this recently using Sgraffito technique. I am influenced by Moroccan, Native American, Egyptian, Islamic Pottery styles and love pattern work. It is intended as an ornamental plate for display purposes, it's handmade, very imperfect and organic with warping and imperfections. Each plate I make is a unique one of a kind piece, signed and numbered by the artist.
All my pottery is certified food safe, dishwasher and microwave safe.
