This is an absolutely beautiful edition of Evangeline by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

Featuring gorgeous illustrations by the renowned American artists Howard Chandler Christy.

Published in 1908 by Grant Richards and printed in the USA by Braunworth & Co.

Bound in red cloth with a decorative white border/design and gilt lettering to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good condition with only very minor wear to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine. There is a prize sticker to the front free end deals paper dated 1918. The pages are light age toned but otherwise lovely and clean.

Overall a stunning book that would make the perfect gift for any book lover!
