Here is a first edition leather bound rare book from 1842 printed in Bethania PA. The Thomsonian Practice of Medicine containing the names and description of the virtues and uses of the medicines belonging to this system of practice! By Reuben Chambers Bethania Pennsylvania 1842! Book was also printed by R. Chambers. I'm assuming the author is also the printer which makes it even rarer. I'm sure they're wasn't many produced. I see later editions selling for hundreds and here is the original tightly bound and no pages missing! Book does have wear seeing it's from 1842! I would say it's in excellent condition! Very tightly bound and very little foxing and stains. Any Doctor or medical book collector would love this book as it's a great book for any collection!
