This is a solid cream ladle made by Whiting in deals the Pompadour pattern. The ladle measures approximatly 5.5" in length and the weight is 26.8g. It has a sterling mark on it as well as "pat. appd. for" on the side of the handle and the Whiting logo and is believed to have been made prior to 1880 because there is no date stamp on the piece that I can find. This ladle is in good used condition. The silver is bright and shiny and there are only a few light scratches that come with normal use. (BIN#MS2).
