This very basic item is necessary whether you are celebrating Gnostic Mass, participating in group ritual, or bellowing Hebrew god names at the walls in privacy. The Tau robe, a magical tool in the magicians arsenal.

The Greek letter Tau or 'T' in ancient times was used as a symbol for life or resurrection , to which the shape of this robe alludes. The pattern is cut in one continuous piece of fabric, as to emphasize the symbolism.

In Book 4 chapter XII, Aleister Crowley states, 'The Robe is that which conceals, and which protects the Magician from the elements; it is the silence and secrecy with which he works, the hiding of himself in the occult life of Magick and Meditation....'

Made from 100% lightweight Cotton broadcloth* in either black or white. This item is made-to-order in your size. I offer neckline preferences, sleeve shape variations and choice of trim. Note: I add 5 inches of ease in the chest, if you desire a looser fitting robe please specify.

What I will need from you before I start:

Measurements:
1) Chest circumference
2) Underarm circumference
3) Length from shoulder to top of ankle
4) Sleeve length from spine to wrist

Neckline Preference:
1) Circular. NOTE: requires your head circumference measurement
2) Front slit with buttons (gold, silver, black or white- specify)

Sleeve Preference:
1) Pointed and flared
2) Straight
3) Rounded and flared (as in first photo)

Color: White or Black or Liber Vesta Robe in White (Probationers robe without insignia)

Trim:
-Gold braid 1/4"
-Silver braid 1/4"
-Greek key in gold with white or black
The trim on hem and sleeves cost extra ($110 price point), if you just want it on the neckline it's the base price of $93. Please specify.
-Liber Vesta finish has 2 inch gold satin fabric trim ($125 deals price point).

Embroidery??? If you want embroidery as in the last photos CHOOSE at checkout:
Embroidery +1 for a robe with no trim ($115) or Embroidery +2 for a robe with trim ($135). I have different designs and colors, please specify.

All hem circumferences equate to 93 inches, which gives sufficient room to move around comfortably. If you desire a bigger or smaller hem, please let me know.

Once purchased, I will send out a detailed message with instructions on how to take the correct measurements. This is a custom garment that requires specific information before I can get started.

*Note: In order for your robe to last longer wash in cold water, use bleach sparingly, hang dry if your robe has trim and iron on a cotton setting. All fabric is preshrunk before construction.
