Presented for sale today is an Antique Painted Tin Wall Match Holder from Frewsburg New York advertising Erwin F. White Co. who sold building materials such as cement, copper, plaster, etc.

We believe this to be from the 1920's. It has an unusual 3 dimensional copper type finish with the advertising still dark and readable on the front. No rust that we can see but some markings on the back and prior bending of metal at base but all tabs are in tact and still sturdy enough to hang and use :)

The only history I could find from Frewsburg was that Mr.Erwin F. White was born in 1882 and died on Nov 10 1964 in Frewsburg NY
Frewsburg is in Chautauqua County

Measurements are: 6 inches high by 3 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches deep at holder base 2 inches deep at top
