Mod Jewel Tone Bracelet Bold Asymmetrical Design
ITEM: With it's asymmetrical shaped links, textured with splatter like effects, bright jewel tone cabs and chunky connector links, this bracelet is about as stylish as they come. It features a toggle style clasp and has a Mod vibe that shouts Runway and Designer. Surprisingly, it's not signed by any maker that I can find. Likely dates to the late 80s to early 90s, those bezel set cabochons are flat backs, possibly foiled and have a slight iridescence similar to moonstone. The plated gold tone metals are mirror bright on the connectors and have a splatter texture on the oddly shaped square links. This is such an eye catching piece - I test drove it a few times just because it's deals so cool. Very Xi-Xi. Makes me smile every time I catch a glimpse of it! Yup. Bout as stylish as they get. Unsigned beauty of high quality make and materials, craftsmanship and design.
SIZE: Measures 8” long and is a tad over 1 1/4” wide. It's really not adjustable, to my thinking.
CONDITION: In very good to excellent vintage condition showing minimal wear apparent. No missing stones, no cracks or chips noted and no signs of replacement or repair. Stones are lively and bright with nothing dull or dead noted. Metals are plated a rich, gold tone. I see no flaking, peeling or loss of tone. No rust or verdigris noted. Mild plate wear noted (light surface scratches) on the toggle from honest wear. A very lush and luxe looking piece of well made costume jewelry from the late 80s to early 90s. Divine!
