The kit is an exploration of faceted gemstone themed colours. The kit will flow and pop like a stack of gemstone rings with flashes of colur. Pictured are some inspiration photos from my gemstone collection and rings I made. I am particularly inspired by the way a faceted gem flashes with bright and dark shades within, sometimes with an unexpected gleam of another colour and throws sparks of light. You are not purchasing these gemstones or rings, the listing is for yarn only

There are several extra combinations with this years kit.

24 mini 20g skeins only

24 mini 20g skeins with a bonus 100g skein in the same fingering base or on a 50g fluff base Mohair, or Suri Silk

24 mini 20g skeins with 3 50g skeins of mohair or 4 suri fluff in colour options. A light blue: “Aquamarine”, a pinkish glow “Tourmaline”
These skeins will blend when held double with your advent kit for an extra luxurious finished object or you could choose to alternate the fluff with the fingering skeins to give an added textural element. **** the Suri is slightly shorter yardage and I have added an extra skein to the kits with Suri ****

24 minis + a bonus skein + 3 fluff skeins (if you order a fluff as your bonus skein I will do the 3 extra skeins in the same base)

24 minis + a bonus skein + 1 fluff skein (if you order a fluff as your bonus skein I will do the extra skeins in the same base) this will NOT be enough fluff to hold double throughout, it will be for adding extra textural rows to make your wrap or shawl uniquely yours.

Each mini skein will be wrapped and numbered in an order I feel works well. The bonus skein will be numbered 25 and wrapped if you add it to your order. Please feel free to deals message me and discuss the kit if you have any questions.

Each kit will be slightly different due to the dyeing and speckling process, even if the skeins are dyed in the same batch.

Dyed using professional acid dyes in a smoke free, cat friendly home

CARE:
Hand wash in cool water with a product recommended for wool and lay flat to dry. While superwash yarn can be washed in a machine I always wash my special hand knits by hand

All hand dyed wool has the potential to bleed, I wash each skein before drying to minimise the chance.
