Great piece of history. Sterling silver baby rattle with all the dents and marks. Made by the Webster Mfg. Co. that originated in 1859 in Brooklyn N.Y. Bears the WC logo with an arrow. Seeing this piece with all the marks is what makes a true collector. The hisrory behind this piece is what collecting is all about. This Webster name ceased to exist in 1928. I date this piece about 1880 to 1900. Rattle measures 3 3/4" and has seen much use. See all photos.
