ANSONIA COMET CARRIAGE CLOCK MEASURES 4 1/8 X 3 1/2 NOT INCLUDING HANDLE ANSONIA MARKING ON THE INSIDE AND TRADEMARK ON THE FRONT HAS KEY CONDITION : Small chip in glass left hand side . Picture is showing the chip One the brass plate inside the clock there is a faint name I cant make it out On the back door it looks like Dec 1936 ? You need to hold it inches from your face and move the clock to get the right light to make it out There is a tarnish spot on the top also in the pictures When the clock is lifted left side has a little bit of play The little knob to turn deals the time sometimes slips so not sure if that is the original knob Color wise the woman who owned the clock had a touch of OCD and would clean it quite often Is this the original color from the factory ?
