Beautiful little Art Nouveau 1900's Slide Pendant from France with a pretty openwork flower on the lid. It is possibly a daisy, Aster, sunflower or perhaps an Edelweiss flower, but what ever your interpretation of the flower is, it makes a marvelous lid to this delightful little pendant. The deals pendant was originally made to hold a photo, and in fact the original child photo is still on the inside of the pendant and is held in place by a slightly domed glass cover and golden metal bezel. Everything can be removed from the inside and the pendant could be used for holding something else, perhaps a tiny cotton pad that has been sprayed with your favorite perfume. When worn from a necklace chain you would have your favorite scent with you the entire day, the lovely perfume's scent coming through the openwork of the pendant's lid. The cotton pad would be held in place with the golden bezel. This diminutive pendant or charm measures 25mm in diameter X 30mm 4mm deep in height including the bail but not the jumpring or 1 inch in diameter X 1-1/8 inches tall X 3/8th inch deep.
