8-Bit Zero makes 8-bit dreams real - using wood, paint, vinyl, glitter, and resin, they produce pixel-perfect portraits of retro game icons and items from Mario and Megaman to mushrooms and Metroids! 8-Bit Zero art is ripped from ROMs, vectorized into commands for robots who cut components from vinyl and wood. each piece is assembled by hand and sealed with an epoxy so shiny you'll have to stop your friends from licking your art. Their work hangs in arcades in Oregon, California, Arizona, and Illinois.

this mushroom is 8" tall by 5” wide, CNC cut plywood, black paint and holographic/colored vinyl film create the image. The front is coated in a clear glossy epoxy. its so shiny you'll want to lick it, but i don't recommend it.
