Minimalist, mid century mod coffee pot by Arabia of Finland, produced from 1973 to 1975.
Inkeri Leivo designed the Faenza black decoration for Peter Winquist's model, which won the gold medal in Italy in 1971 at the Faenza Ceramic Biennale. What a treasure!
The Faenza range boasts a geometric, monochrome design with bold black stripes and circles on white. It would fit into any mid century mod or contemporary home.
Measuring 16cm / 6.25 inches high X 12cm / 4.75 inches base diameter.
The pot holds 1.2L approx. 5 cups.
Lovely vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Some crazing, commensurate with age. There are 2 dark spots inside the pot, see photos. deals
