Chrome tanned kangaroo hide, imported direct from the tannery in Australia.

A nice pale pink tanned hide.

There is a faint 1in red mark along the bottom edge. The dye hasn't taken fully at the top edge and at the bottom edge there is a darker area (12in wide, 6in long).

It's ideal for various leather goods; wallets, watch straps, purses, handbags etc.

Kangaroo hide is 10x the tensile strength of cowhide, whilst being much thinner and more flexible. Kangaroo leather is commonly used in premium football boots and motorcycle gear, due to these properties. It also makes it ideal for footwear, garments and handbags.

Please note, kangaroo hides can only be obtained from Australia and they are not farmed, therefore the hides may have some scarring which we try to indicate in the photographs. Please refer to the measurements, kangaroo hides are far smaller than cow hides! These make them ideal for bespoke leather goods and hobbyists.

Items are delivery in a large cardboard tube, which incurs a high postage cost, however if you buy more than one hide, each additional hide has free postage.
