Lovely Checkerboard Cut Citrine Gemstone .925 Sterling Silver Ring - Very Nice Statement deals Piece Detailed Filigree Design

A lovely checkerboard cut citrine set in a detailed stamped .925 sterling silver setting - scroll through the photos to see all of the lovely details.

This is such a lovely stone, a nice soft yellow. And, the setting is nicely detailed - I'm not sure if you'd call it Gothic or Victorian in style, but it's certainly pretty!

At its widest the ring measures 15 mm east to west and tapers to 5 mm underneath.

The setting is nicely constructed but hollow meaning this ring is not so heavy as to be uncomfortable to wear, being hollow also helps to prevent the ring from sliding around on your finger, further adding to "wearability".

This ring measures a 7 on my mandrel, it should be noted that wider bands may fit slightly tighter than thinner bands and settings like this typically cannot be sized.

The stone moves ever so slightly in the setting, it has been taken to a jeweler who advised that it is secure in the setting as the bezel securely covers each edge and that deals tightening the bezel is not advised as it could damage the stone.

This piece is in excellent vintage condition, it appears to only ever have been lightly worn if ever worn at all.
