Original vintage linocut from series "Lenin is abroad" by famous Ukrainian artist Malakov Georgy. This work is in good condition, with little signs of age.
The work depicts the first flight of an aeroplane in the sky over the city of Juvisy in northern France. It was an aeroplane of the Wright brothers. Orville and Wilbur Wright were two American aviation pioneers generally credited with inventing, building, and flying the world's first successful motor-operated aeroplane.

Artist: Georgy Vasilievich Malakov (1928-1979).

Georgy Malakov was born in Kiev.
In 1955, he graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute. His teachers were V. Kasiyan and I. Pleschinsky.

Honoured Artist of the USSR since 1974.

Malakov's works are stored in deals 59 museums in Ukraine, Russia, Bulgaria, in many private collections, large libraries.
