Vintage Rosenthal Studio Line Linie, Porcelain deals Display or Wall Plate, Water Lilies, Mauve, Blues, Matte Metallic Gold Bronze Silver, Le Foll

Large, vintage porcelain wall or display plate, manufactured by German Rosenthal china as part of their Studio Linie or Line, line. Designed by French artist Alain Le Foll (1934-1981) in the 1970's who was known for his surrealist interpretations, the Water Lilies pattern - also known as Fleurs du Lac - was placed on many different pieces. A polychrome image in mauve, lavender, olive green and shades of blue with matte metallics in antique gold, bronze and dark silver. Beautiful and uncommon piece that fits so well with today's aesthetic. Simple round shape with a gently sloping rim. Artist's signature at the 6 o'clock mark on blue.

Maker's mark on the back, see photo 6. Reads "Rosenthal, Studio-Linie, Germany". Factory installed hanger.

Measures 13 inches wide/deep.

Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. I see a bit of dark marking on the gold matte only, but it may rub off with some targeted effort.
