A child was taught to weave in steps, often starting with the process of washing and spinning the wool before they could finally began weaving using their very own small loom.
While grazing their sheep, Native Shepard's would always keep their eyes open for branches of hardwood, then using the natural state of these materials to create their weaving tools. Each spindle had their own characteristics and imperfections, but with patience and practice these women perfected their craft.
