This antique engraving was published in Europe by W.H.Lizars in 1833 and was hand colored. The Violet-Crown Hummingbird ( Trochilus Sepharvoides ) is framed in a ready made frame. The frame is 10 1/4" high x 12 1/4" wide and the print is 3 3/4" high x 6" wide. The almost 200 year old paper has some slight surface texture on the right side of the picture.
The print is clear and bright and deals the background color is a light beige.
