Hummel 'Child Jesus' Holy Water Font

Holy Water fonts have been popular Christening Day gifts to godchildren and grandchildren since the 1800s and continue to be popular up to the present time. This holy deals water font features a depiction of the Holy Child Jesus with hands raised in a gesture of blessing.

This holy water font is crafted in porcelain and hand painted with careful attention to details. It measures about 5-1/8" tall x 2-3/4" wide. It is marked with a pressed in "M. I. Hummel" facsimile signature (her personal seal of approval) on the back and marked with TMK-7 Hummel trademark. Signed and dated by the artist who finished painting the piece in 1998. Made in Germany.

In Mint condition and housed in original manufacturer's presentation box. Weight before packaging is about 6 oz. Will ship double boxed via USPS First Class Package.
