1800s (1870) REVERE WARE ANTIQUE VINTAGE COPPER TEAPOT KETTLE
DESCRIPTION:
This copper kettle was made in 1870, according to the inscription that is still legible on the bottom. Imagine the stories it could tell.
Inscription reads: 1801 Revere Ware ROME, NY U.S.A - 70
USE: This little teapot would add the perfect touch of vintage warmth to any modern or farmhouse kitchen. If you don't want to use it for its original purpose, it would make an adorable watering can or just a nice display.
CONDITION: The teapot is in good vintage condition. It has a wood handle grip that is in great condition with no cracks or breaks. The lid is missing a bead or knob, but the pin is still in place. The spout deals shows some loving use around the tip, but is completely functional. The copper has a nice aged patina. It's beautiful as-is or could be shined up if that's the look you're going for.
