The chain has a card that says "The mourning were(?) clipped by a pick pocket from me years ago," and "This chain 70 years old made in 1884 from Mama Jenny's hair cut when she was sick." For an item over 100 years old this chain is in extremely good condition with very minor fraying. The cord measures 11½" including the deals cord ends.
