A wonderful pair of vintage linen with contrast red stitching open crotch French pants, dating to beg of 1900s. These wonderful slacks were probably for men's underwear or pajama bottoms. These lovely pants are light weight, so were probably for spring and summer time. 3 buttons, open crotch, tab with button at back, adjustable button leg cuffs. A ribbon detail on front waist, probably used for attachment to trousers.
Amazing patina. Some discoloration spots on back. Mother of pearl buttons - small on back and cuffs and bigger on front. Adjustable on waist. The measurements are given extended. Wonderful for home or beach wear, design inspiration, or used as décor!
Condition - This lovely garment shows signs of time and use. Worn and beautifully faded. Some spots here and there. Missing stitching on the right leg cuff. Please use zoom feature and review the pictures. No holes to be found. Lovely vintage condition with plenty of life left to give! These textile become works of art with time and use. Unique, one of a kind.
Please check measurements on the last picture to ensure the fit, THANK YOU! The measurements are given extended, so will fit smaller waist 28"-30"
Please get back to me for further details or photos - I am happy to help and will answer as soon as possible.
All my textiles and garments are in as I found, unwashed condition. There could be some storage dirt or authentic vintage smell that will wash away, however I prefer to leave this in as found condition for collectors. Please wear it after washing.
