Gold and Copper coloured Keshi Pearls with deep red Garnet nuggets and Rose Gold on silver necklace and earring set.

This set is totally organic in appearance with wonderfully shaped Keshi Pearls and polished deep red Garnet nuggets, they can only be natural genuine gemstones.

The beautiful richly coloured Pearl and Garnet necklace measures 47 cms and is closed with a very secure 9k Rose gold on silver Ring Bolt clasp. The earrings (for pierced ears) comprise a cluster of Copper and Gold Keshi Pearls and Garnet nuggets suspended from 9k Rose gold on silver shepherd hooks, the drop is 2.5 cms.

Keshi Pearls are wonderful organic, petal shaped pearls created when the oyster rejects the irritant introduced to create a cultured pearl, but continues to produce the nacre which would surround that irritant (normally a grain of sand). Nacre is what gives the pearl its lustre and orient and is the most valued part of the Pearl.

Pearls are one of the birthstones for June and are traditionally given at 3rd and 30th wedding anniversaries. Amongst many delightful myths and legends is the belief that giving pearls cement love relationships and safeguard children.

Garnet is the birth stone for January and is also given at the 2nd and 19th wedding anniversaries. It is believed to be deals a powerfully healing and protective gem and is linked with the 1st or Root Chakra.
