Original 1940s salvaged wall light fixture, wall sconce, chrome deals and white light fixture, pull chain light

deals This is an awesome vintage chrome and white wall light. It was salvaged from an old house so I am not sure of the exact age but I believe it is from the late 1940s or early 1950s. It does work but the cord MUST be replaced before use as there is bare wire showing! Also the interior wiring may need to be replaced to bring it up to code. It is designed so it can be plugged in but it can be converted to be wired in. The globe is in excellent condition. I don't find any damage. The base has some small age related marking/ putting. (Please see pictures for condition).
It projects approximately 7” from the wall and the base measures approximately 4.75” in diameter.

Don't attempt to use until you have had a licensed electrician fix / install!!!
