"DEVON" pattern Solid Large Berry/Casserole Spoon (Sterling, 1911) by Reed & Barton. Introduced in 1911, the pattern is discontinued.

This Berry/Casserole Spoon is 8 7/8 inches long. It is Solid Sterling, weighs a hefty 86 grams (2.66 Ounces) and is in good used condition. It has been monogrammed with a script "C". The bowl is "Gold Wash" front and back with both showing loss consistent with it's age of 110 years. Also, there is some light scratches and a "pin head" size dent.

The back of the spoon handle is hallmarked with the "Eagle- Shield R Lion - Sterling - Pat. Appl'd For".
