The original is in the National Museum in Athens and dates to the 5th century BC. The ancient Greeks used polished bronze plates as mirrors. They were usually made of molten bronze or copper material. They were round, oval, square and most of the time they had a handle. If any rust deals developed it was easily polished new. All our bronze items, are cast in Greece, using the traditional 'lost wax' method. As nothing is mass-produced, there will inevitably be slight variations in patination and colouring. Each piece is, therefore, unique.(112100272204-A)
