“Direction and Deviation” created in 2019

Original / handmade / one of a kind art. This unique collage artwork is created with an embroidered vintage postcard, map fragments, a sewn fabric ribbon, and gouache paint on paper. All mounted on archival illustration board and ready to frame! This piece combines a green and pink color palette with layered texture and found horse photos. I'm inspired by my experiences traveling and living abroad, collecting souvenirs, and the magic of parts unknown.
