This wonderful mosaic cross bursts with coral-red and turquoise-blue colors, surrounding four sweet images of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The centerpiece is a mosaic rose bud and eight petals set with more images of Our Lady of Guadalupe as if plucked from Our Lady's mantle. The rosebud is made of layers of coral-red faux composite coral beads. A bright turquoise border wraps the cross in composite turquoise and druzy stones. "Holy Virgin of Guadalupe, Queen of Angels and Mother of the Americas. We fly to you today as your beloved children...Shelter us under the mantle of your protection, keep us in the embrace of your arms, help us always to know thee love of your Son, Jesus. Amen."
The cross measures 14" by 10.5" by 2.5" and is designed as a deals wall cross. The wood cross base is embellished with turquoise and red composite beads, glass and mixed media treasures. The back of the cross is painted black and signed by the artist.
