District 12 was filmed at Henry River Mill Village in North Carolina. The wood on this pen was removed directly from the actual residence of Katniss Everdeen's in the movie. The home on the property of Henry River Mill Village needed to be repaired and my supplier was able to obtain wood from the home. There is not a lot of this wood in the world and it is hard to come by. The cap of this rollerball pen features the burning Mocking Jay Symbol from the movie. This would make a great gift for any fan of the Hunger Games series.
