Product code: An Excellent Edwardian Sterling Silver deals Vesta Case with Gilded Interior
deals Assayed in Birmingham in 1906 by the makers William Hair Haseler. This pretty little vesta case is typical of the Art Nouveau period, having lovely foliate scroll work and a vacant cartouche. The interior is gilded, the spring is very strong, snapping closed beautifully. The case is in very fine condition inside and out, with the gilding being bright and clean. The case is solid. There is only one dint, just above the lid opener (check last picture), otherwise perfect, only the lightest of scratches as you might expect from a piece of this age. Dimensions 4.6 cm x 2.7 cm x 1 cm. Weight 20.33 g.
